Coblence avocats assisted Agama's shareholders in its sale to IQ-EQ

Coblence avocats advised Agama's shareholders in its sale to IQ-EQ, the world leader in regulatory compliance services. This strategic transaction strengthens IQ-EQ's position in continental Europe and complements its existing offering in the UK, US and Asia.

Founded in 2013, Agama Group is a major player in regulatory compliance, offering internal control and operational support services to asset managers. Agama has offices in Paris and Luxembourg, where it employs more than 50 professionals across its four branches: Agama Conseil, Agama Services, Agama Advisors and BELT Solutions.

This acquisition enables IQ-EQ to considerably expand its expertise in the field of regulatory compliance in continental Europe, and to broaden its portfolio of services for asset managers and specialised funds, particularly in the private equity and real estate sectors. It also strengthens IQ-EQ's capabilities in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, particularly in Luxembourg.

The acquisition of Agama is the latest in a series of strategic operations for IQ-EQ, following the integration of ComplianceAsia and Lymon Pte in 2023, thus consolidating its position as the independent leader in international regulatory compliance.
