CEE R. Schisler Packaging Solutions, based in Thouars in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France, a specialist in the manufacture of paper-cardboard packaging solutions, has opened up its capital to two minority financial investors:
- iXO Private Equity, a responsible regional fund based in Toulouse, specializing in supporting SMEs and ETIs in the South of France
- Unigrains, an investment company specializing in the agri-food and agro-industry sectors, with recognized sector expertise.
The family shareholders reinvest significantly, thus retaining the majority of the capital and preserving operational control.
This financial operation marks the start of a new phase of growth for the company, characterized by investments in its industrial infrastructure, the internalization of logistics and the creation of new 100% paper-cardboard packaging solutions, eco-designed, renewable and recyclable.
David and Claire Schisler, who have been at the helm of the family-run ETI for over 20 years, have never ceased to inject their visions into the company's strategy. Firstly, by completely ceasing plastic bag production in the 2000s and refocusing on paper and cardboard, then by investing significantly in R&D to create compostable, 100% paper-cardboard solutions such as Earth-Cup®.
Today, the company offers a wide range of environmentally responsible packaging, including paper bags, wraps, lids and cups, mainly for the catering and fast-food industries. CEE Schisler Packaging Solutions operates from a single 72,000 m² industrial site, equipped with around 100 production lines and, soon, a future warehouse capable of handling 25,000 pallets. With sales of over €135 million, 540 employees and an annual output of over 35,000 bags, Schisler Packaging Solutions has established a strong market position.
